Blombosch Hide away lodge is situated 8km outside the beautiful town of Yzerfontein.

The farm has been acquired by The Buffalo Drift Collection and is set amongst the fynbos dunes of the West Coast.

Blombosch Hide away lodge offers:

8 en-suite bedrooms with 2 x single beds and 1 x bunk each (sleeping a maximum of 33 guests) Room 1 has an extra single bed.

Entertainment hall/dining area.

Cozy couches around an indoor fireplace.

Pool table and outside bar area.

Deck overlooking our fresh water spring with abundant bird life.

Outside braai area with benches.

Fully equipped kitchen (Gas only) includes full size fridge and a deep freezer.

The generator will be switched on between 18h00 and 23h00. There will be fee of R150p/h charged outside of these hours.

Our fridges, geyser and stove all operate on gas.

Fire wood can be pre-arranged and bought at R100 for 50 pieces.

Each morning, we’ll come by to clean the kitchen and wash up any dishes from your meals so you can focus on relaxing instead of doing chores when you get back from exploring the surrounding areas.

Check in is 2pm-6pm and check out is 10 am, early check in or late check out can be arranged prior to arrival via email and a R250 fee will be charged.

Guests will be sent the gate code as well as their on- site contact the day before check in via WhatsApp.

Our farm is a living representation of the old and new ways of doing things. We have windmills on our land, not just for aesthetic value, but to provide water for the farm.

No TV and limited cell phone signal. Please note: No speeding (the speed limit is 30kmph to preserve the wildlife and tranquillity).

This Property is self-catering.
A Spit braai can be arranged by a trusted service provider (lamb is standard but other options can be arranged).

Groups of 15 and up from *R255 – R450pp – please ask for a quote, group size dependent.

Spit includes:

• 500 Grams raw meat (bone-in) per person
• Curry Pasta Salad
• Coleslaw salad
• Onions and Potatoes
• Garlic Bread

(Vegetarian, vegan, and special dietary requirements can be catered for – additional costs may be incurred)

2-week lead time needed for any catering requirements
